Getting started

Let's set up Salondesq together. You can try it free for seven days, and with the steps below you'll be online within fifteen minutes.

Welcome to your dashboard

After creating your account, you land on your dashboard. This is where your appointments come in, and where you see who's expected today and what's still open.

Before we continue, first go to Salon in the menu on the left. That's where you set up the basics of your salon.

All settings at a glance

Under Salon you'll find your services, your staff, your opening hours and your locations. Online booking and payments are under Settings, at the bottom of the menu.

Start with your services and your opening hours. Once those are right, you can take your first appointment.

1. Set your opening hours

Under Salon > Opening hours, set when you're open for each day. Fixed breaks and public holidays are on the tabs next to it, so nothing can be booked outside your hours.

Need a one-off change? Add a closing day or block time via Calendar > Absence, without changing your regular weekly schedule.

2. Share your booking link

Under Settings > Online booking, the 'Link and website' tab shows your personal booking link. Click 'Copy link' and put it in your Instagram bio, on your website and in your email signature.

Want to embed the widget in your own site? Copy the code below it. On the 'Design' tab you can adjust the colours and font to match your salon.
